Sushant’s professional journey spans about 2 decades, with his most recent role as Design Lead at Courtyard Design Incorporated, where he has been delivering exceptional designs since August 2021. In this role, Sushant has seamlessly amalgamated cutting-edge design philosophies with practical constructability, ensuring that every project strikes a perfect balance between innovation and feasibility. He takes a hands-on approach to value engineering, consistently identifying opportunities to reduce project budgets without compromising on quality or creativity. His expertise in this area has been a game-changer for clients, helping them achieve their vision within realistic cost parameters.

Before leading Courtyard Design Incorporated, Sushant spent six years as an Estimator at PCL Constructors, Richmond BC, where he played a key role in large-scale projects for renowned clients such as Vancouver International Airport, Lionsgate Hospital, and Teck Resources. His ability to align client goals with efficient construction planning and estimating ensured the success of these high-profile endeavors.

Before joining PCL, he spent four years as a Construction Coordinator with Pagnotta Inc., Edmonton AB, where he focused primarily on residential projects. His experience on these developments allowed him to refine his coordination skills, gaining a deeper understanding of project execution and delivery. Prior to this, Sushant began his career as an architect in New Delhi, India, spending four years with various organizations, where he developed his creative foundation and gained experience in thoughtful, innovative design.

With academic achievements that include a Postgraduation in Construction Management from Toronto, Canada, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from India, Sushant offers a unique combination of technical expertise, creativity, and insight. This blend positions him as a rare professional who bridges the designer’s vision and the contractor’s practical approach.
